Passport Processing
The Village of Webster processes passport applications by appointment only. IMPORTANT NOTES before you begin:
- For children under 16 years old:
- Both parents or guardians must approve that we can issue a passport to a child, and go with the child to apply in person.
- If one or both parents or guardians cannot apply with their child, you will need to provide additional documents.
- 16 & 17 yrs old:
- You must show one legal parent or guardian is aware you are applying.
- Minor Passports cannot be renewed. Minors are a new passport application until they reach age 16.
- Adult passport renewals will only be processed if the photo is taken at our office.
- If your passport is lost or stolen, report it to the US Dept. of State: travel.state.gov
Passport fee payment methods:
- Passport Book / Card fees for the US Dept. of State must be paid either by personal check or money order ONLY.
- Processing fees including photos and postage can be paid by personal check, cash or credit card.
Renew Passport Online - New Changes as of 9/20/2024
Eligible U.S. citizens who want routine service can now renew their passports online, for 6-8 week processing. If you do not qualify to renew online, you may also renew by mail.
You can renew online if you meet all of these requirements:

You can renew online if you meet all of these requirements:
- The passport you are renewing is or was valid for 10 years, and you are age 25 or older.
- We issued the passport you are renewing between 2009 and 2015, or over 9 years but less than 15 years from the date you plan to submit your application.
- You are not changing your name, gender, date of birth, or place of birth.
- You are not traveling for at least 8 weeks from the date you will submit your application. We will only offer routine service, and the time it takes to get a passport will be the same as renewing by mail.
- You are applying for a regular (tourist) passport. You cannot renew a special issuance (diplomatic, official, service) passport online.
- You live in the United States (either state or territory). You do not qualify to renew online if you live in a foreign country or have an Army Post Office (APO) or Fleet Post Office (FPO) address.
- You have your passport with you, and it is not damaged or mutilated, and you have not reported it as lost or stolen. Keep your most recent passport and do not mail it to us.
- You can pay for your passport using a credit or debit card.
- You can upload a digital passport photo.
- You are aware that we will cancel the passport you are renewing after you submit your application. You cannot use it for international travel.

Expedited Processing:
To obtain your passport sooner, there is an option to expedite the process (2 - 3 weeks turn-around time),
for an additional fee of $60 per application.

for an additional fee of $21.36 per application.
