Water Dept. Throughout the Years

In July 2011 The Village Board determined that a secretary was needed in the Public Works Building, so the office was painted and renovated by DPW staff, but before that, it needed a good cleaning.  While clearing out the office photos of the Wellfield facilities were found.  Understanding the importance of history, The Chief Water Plant Operator, Fred Holley and Ann Marie Champagne, Public Works/Water Dept Assistant, decided that the photos needed to be displayed as part of our Water Department heritage.

Fred then took it one step further and photographed the Wellfield facilities as they stand today to be displayed with the photos taken in the 1970’s.   Below are the photos for you to enjoy – it’s so interesting to see the changes that take place over a 40 year period.
