PRESS RELEASE:
Village of Webster Mayor, Jake Swingly announced an initiative to curb the upswing in vandalism in the village. In the past month several public areas and private buildings have been vandalized with graffiti. The mayor has made an appeal to the business community and received a huge out pouring of support. Because of the business community working together, the Village of Webster has sponsors for a reward for information leading to the conviction of the persons responsible for the vandalism. Two X BOX 360’s are available for the first two people to share information, (you may remain anonymous). Anyone with information is encouraged to call 911 and give the information to the Webster Police. You may also contact the Mayor personally, by email or telephone.
“We have a great community to live and work in,” said the Mayor. A great deal of investment and improvement is happening in the village despite the sluggish economy elsewhere. We don’t need our community tarnished at anytime, but it is especially disturbing now when there is so much good happening.”
The Mayor announced the businesses cooperating in offering the rewards are; Golden Boys Restaurant, Sun Auto, Netzman’s Appliances, Smith Insurance, Ebaum’s Webster Ventures, J.B. Management, Jeff’s Computers,
Taylor Rental and the Village of Webster, Board of Trustees.
